We've made it to Ko Phi Phi - the most beautiful island in the world ( it says so on the postcards you know). It's really lovely, very relaxed compared to the bustle of all the other islands and the mainland, and the taxi was a longboat. The life of luxary! Tomorrow we are going to go snorkelling and kayaking. Very exciting. More to update soon.

That was the one I went to post Tsunami for the clean up - imagine no buildings just trees and you may get an idea! Good luck swimming to the rock where 'The Beach' was filed - AMAZE!
ReplyDeleteyea we went there yesterday, it was full of chinese tourists but you still got the general idea. we did this really good boat tour where they park behind the beach in a lagoon and you have to dive off the boat and swim there. what did you do in terms of clear up when you were here? there's still lots of buildings that they havent replaced and bits of debris here and there.xxxxx
ReplyDeleteYour photos of the island are beautiful - you could even say picturesque! Am very jealous as you know I love white sandy beaches and clear blue/green sea. Also love snorkelling. Did you see any fish?????
